About Our Logo

Rosary by Rosemary

The Rosary by Rosemary logo is designed to start with the image of a cross embedded in the first letter.

Not just any cross, but one reminiscent of those made by the pilgrims visiting the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem which includes the site of Christ’s crucifixion and the empty tomb.

Crosses like these are found on the stairway going down to the area where St. Helen (mother of the Emperor Constantine) found the True Cross of Christ (verified by the miraculous healings that took place when the infirm were touched with the relic).

The capital R then connects to the rest of the logo with the beginning of the rosary, followed by a full decade of the rosary.

Note the people running up to the cross on the beads of the rosary. This image was inspired by Michelangelo’s Last Judgement in the Sistine Chapel. That painting includes souls being pulled up to Heaven by their rosary beads to indicate the power of that devotion and its influence on their salvation.

A faux signature is included “by Rosemary” and the sprig of rosemary at the end reflects the owner’s name.

All of these iconic religious images were part of tours and pilgrimages Rosemary was privileged to complete. They reflect the spirit of prayer and thoughtfulness surrounding the production of these rosaries.
